STATE REDISTRICTING - 2011
Every 10 years, as a result of the Census and according to the NJ State Constitution, New Jersey must re-draw it's legislative districts to maintain proportional representation of the electorate.

REDISTRICTING
Every 10 years, as a result of the Census and according to the NJ State Constitution, New Jersey must re-draw it's Congressional districts to maintain proportional representation of the electorate. This process is similar to re-drawing the state legislative districts (see column at left), but is a separate process which begins in September.
